Filing Deadline to file nomination papers for County Offices with the Auditor’s Office.
Last day to file nomination papers for county offices with the Auditor. This includes NPPO candidates, candidates nominated by petition, candidate for non-partisan offices, such as Hospital Trustees, Soil and Water Commission and Ag Extension council and Democratic and Republican Parties’ nomination to fill ballot vacancies. The Auditor’s Office will be open until the deadline of 5PM.

Last Day for Vacancies - County
If a midterm vacancy in a county office occurs on or before this day and no special election is called to fill the vacancy, the office must be on the ballot to fill vacancy at the general election. Political party nominations must be made by convention.
